This policy explains how the TelePrompter PRO MAX 2.0 app ("App", "we") handles information. For questions or requests, write to jonasnostrani7@gmail.com.
1. Data Controller
The developer responsible for the App is Jonas Nostrani, contactable via the email above. This policy complies, as applicable, with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), GDPR/UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws.
2. Processed Information
Locally Stored Data
- Scripts, titles, favorites, reading position, and creation/modification dates.
- Font preferences, speed, colors, transparency, alignment, and floating card position.
- Subscription state and usage counters required for the free version.
This data remains on the device, unless cloud features are explicitly offered and activated in the future.
Google Account and Firebase
If you choose to sign in with Google, we may receive your user ID, name, email address, and profile picture from Google/Firebase Authentication. Signing in is optional and is used to identify your account and enable sync features. We do not receive your Google password.
Ads and Consent
The free version uses Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform (UMP). Depending on your region and choices, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions, diagnostics, and device info to serve, measure, limit frequency, and combat fraud. Options depend on AdMob settings for European and US state regulations.
Support
When you email us, we process your email address, message content, and attachments to respond and maintain support history.
3. Device Permissions
- Camera and microphone: used only when you start recording. Video is saved on the device by MediaStore.
- Display over other apps: allows showing the floating teleprompter and is only enabled after user authorization in Android.
- Notifications and foreground service: keep the floating mode active and visible to the system.
- Files: importing uses the Android document picker; we do not request broad storage access.
- Internet and network state: required for ads, consent, sign-in, support, and purchases.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
- Perform requested functions and provide the service (performance of contract).
- Save preferences and protect stability/security (legitimate interest, where applicable).
- Show and measure ads according to your choices (consent or other permitted legal bases).
- Authenticate accounts and process support requests (performance of contract and legitimate interest).
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to competent authorities.
5. Sharing and Processors
We may use Google services, including Google Mobile Ads, UMP, Firebase Authentication, Google Play Billing, and Google Play Services. These providers process data according to their own terms and policies. We do not sell your scripts or recorded content. We may share information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
6. International Transfers
Global providers may process data outside your country. Where applicable, we use legally recognized mechanisms for these transfers and rely on the safeguards of the contracted providers.
7. Retention and Deletion
Local scripts and settings remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Account data remains as long as the account is active or as necessary for legal obligations and security. To request deletion of account or support data, email jonasnostrani7@gmail.com.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your region, you can request confirmation, access, correction, portability, anonymization, objection, or deletion; you can also withdraw consent. In the App, use Settings → Ad privacy options to review choices when UMP indicates it is required. Covered US residents can use the same option for "Do Not Sell or Share" when available.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's data without required authorization. Parents can request review or deletion via the support email.
10. Security
We adopt reasonable technical measures, such as private app storage, protected connections offered by providers, and minimal permission access. No system is completely immune to risks.
11. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or product changes. The effective date will be updated and, when necessary, users will be notified in the App.
